Biohazard Essentials

First coming together in '87, Biohazard brought a new level of pounding intensity to classic New York hardcore. Inspired by bands like Cro-Mags and Agnostic Front, the quartet added raw thrash metal riffs and slamming hip-hop grooves to the genre's loud-and-fast mix, and long before nu-metal stormed the mainstream, they were banging out aggressive rap-rock anthems that explored the grimy side of urban life. With their neck-snapping beats, mosh-ready breakdowns and snarling rhymes, Biohazard continue to go hard, decades after dropping their roaring debut.
