In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Our favorite moment was our first sold out show at the best venue in Fort Collins; The Atrium. It's such an exciting moment to experience when you see a sea of people and hear them singing your lyrics. For us, it was when we knew this was special. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Hippo Campus, Bambi Kings of Leon, When You See Yourself Local Natives, Hummingbird (Deluxe Version) These albums had the biggest impact on my life and have inspired the sound that our band makes now. "Hummingbird" was the first album I listened to by Local Natives along with the the first Indie Rock album I fell in love with. The others are perfect Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Liked You Before” This song is so special to us due to the fact it was written in the beginnings of our band forming. We pride ourselves on our ability to blend genres as a band and this track in particular happens to be the most mellow ballad in our discography. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Our most memorable moment is booking our first show at The Aggie in Fort Collins. Aside from it being the staple for live music in our town, we get to perform with our two favorite Colorado bands; Shadow Work and Virgil Vigil. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Before our days are done as a band, we'd definitely love to headline shows at Red Rocks & The Hollywood Bowl, along with a worldwide tour. After these I'd say we'd feel quite accomplished.
