Apple Music Home Session: Jade Eagleson

Apple Music Home Session: Jade Eagleson

“Recording in a home setting is always an adventure-packed experience,” Jade Eagleson tells Apple Music about making his exclusive Home Session. “I’ve built a tiny vocal booth that’d make any producer grind their teeth, but it gets the job done and it’s always fun to use.” The Bailieboro, Ontario-born singer-songwriter put it into action first reimagining “She Don’t Know” from 2021’s Honkytonk Revival LP. “We get a lot of folks asking if there’s a more stripped-down version for their wedding,” he says. “When you strip back the production on things, you get to experience a really intimate connection with the song. I definitely felt that during this process.” He also got particularly close—and creative—with a surprising One Direction cover. “For 'Steal My Girl', we really wanted to go outside the box—I mean way outside the box,” he says. “It’s such an incredibly upbeat song that is loved by so many, so getting to make that one feel country was an incredible amount of fun. I’m blessed to have such an incredibly talented band, and this track really showcases what they can do, and what our live show is like.”
