Since 2008, Sushin Shyam has handled the keys for folk-metal band The Down Troddence. However, beginning in the mid-2010s, the composer, multi-instrumentalist and singer has also helped power the Malayalam film industry—musically speaking. The versatile star brings tales to life with folk, electro-pop, hip-hop and more. And he’s been lauded for his efforts: In 2020, he won Best Music Director at the Kerala State Film Awards for Kumbalangi Nights.
