Skream Essentials

As UK producer Skream was becoming the face of dubstep, he was also developing his own sound and setting off a chain reaction in the world of of bass music. His version of dubstep became more melodic, incorporating elements of house and techno, while also including the work of prominent vocalists like Katy B and La Roux. His debut Skream! was a more traditional dubstep release, but his second album Outside the Box—along with his collaborative project Magnetic Man with Benga and Artwork—was instrumental in the evolution of dubstep and spawned now-classic radio hits.
