Branded one of Monterrey's kings of rock en español, Jumbo started as "Blueswagen" in the ‘90s, covering The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Doors and Pink Floyd. The alt-rock band's debut album Restaurant was released in 1998, with the chart-topping hits like “Monotransistor” and “Siento que”. Their raw, authentic and organic sound, paired with frontman Castillo's powerful vocals, contributed to their exalted status on the ever-growing Mexican indie rock scene.
