Arctic Monkeys: Family Tree

In 2005, Miles Kane's The Little Flames supported Arctic Monkeys on their UK tour. It would be the start of a beautiful friendship. Kane played guitar on Favourite Worst Nightmare closer “505” and two Arctic Monkeys B-sides before he and Alex Turner dreamed up The Last Shadow Puppets. The pair's 2008 album “The Age of the Understatement” was a critical and commercial success, but eight years would pass before its blistering follow-up. The pair kept themselves nice and busy in the interim, of course. Kane nurtured a nicely eclectic solo career, while Turner dabbled in soundtrack work and safely kept the Monkeys atop music's top table.
