Kit Chan's music is a testament to the beauty of a simple melody, delivered with honesty and a crystal-clear voice. Yet, since the pop star's debut in 1993, her work has spanned more than just singing and songwriting: Chan has also left her mark in the worlds of theatre, screen acting, poetry, entrepreneurship and community work. In 2004, she decided to go further by taking a six-year hiatus from recording to resume her studies in her native Singapore. She has since come back to the stage and screen, stronger than ever.
