Khalil Fong

Khalil Fong was a multilingual soul-pop singer, songwriter, and producer from Hong Kong. Embracing soul music as a Chinese artist, he became a sensation upon his emergence in 2005 with his solo recording debut, the Warner Music Hong Kong-issued Soul Boy. 2016's Journey to the West was an international breakthrough, which helped him win the Golden Melody award for Best Male Artist. He published a trio of bilingual children's books in 2018, and he maintained his industry presence with the EPs Emi the Dream Catcher (named after his book series) and Home Sweet Home, as well as a handful of singles (including the award-winning "White Hair"). He released his last album, The Dreamer, in 2024, before his death in 2025.
