Hong Kong filmmaker Susie Au joined forces with pop composer Vicky Fung and lyricist Chou Yiu Fai for Utopia, momentarily, a Gesamtkunstwerk of dance, theater and film performed at the city’s New Vision Arts Festival 2016. In the spirit of this daring multi-arts production, the piece's original soundtrack blends a mix of art and pop that is incongruously at home: On standout duet "Silver Hair", vocalists Eman Lam and Yoyo Sham weave Fung’s call-and-response melody and Chou’s poetic lyrics into a tender tapestry, their efforts a sounding testament to the limitless creativity of Hong Kong’s artists.
