Exploding out of the ‘60s rock scene, The Rolling Stones personified the sexy and rebellious side of swinging London while building their boisterous, rip-roaring sound around the syncopated rhythms of American blues. Soon they became as well known for the bad boy antics of swaggering frontman Mick Jagger and hard-partying lead guitarist Keith Richards as for their unending stream of infectious hits. The Stones would remain prolific for decades, releasing albums well into the ‘00s. Impressively, each of their two dozen-plus studio albums has become certified Gold or Platinum.
