“In these hard times, music is always the answer,” James Haskell tells Apple Music. The former England rugby union international speaks with some professional insight: His fledgling DJ career has taken off since retiring from professional sport in 2019. “I have put together a playlist of absolute bangers that will get you through anything,” he says of his contribution to Apple Music’s At Home With series. “I challenge you not to feel like partying after listening to two songs.” While caution is recommended on that front, the playlist undoubtedly showcases Haskell’s understanding of what dance floors want. “There’s a combination of classic house and new house here,” he says. “If you are in your thirties and onwards, you’ll know a lot of these. Under that age and this will be an education.”
