In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was when my mother would play vinyl records in the living room of our apartment, and I would try to scratch on them pretending to be a DJ. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Nas, Illmatic Skillz, From Where??? Wu-Tang Clan, Wu-Tang Forever These three albums were the most impactful compilation of songs that I've ever experienced. They made a deep impression on the way that I pen because they combine concept, style, and cohesiveness that I try to emulate on each of my projects. Tell us why you chose this song. “Transition” Transition marks a period of time in my life where, after I sustained my spinal cord injury, I had to stop looking at the glass as being half empty and progressively and intentionally started viewing it as being half full. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment of my career so far was performing at my state capital. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love the opportunity to record a song with Nas and Donnell Jones.
