In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first song I wrote was in 2nd grade with the only other kid in school with a guitar. We didn't think to learn covers so just came up with our own chords. I did vocals & after an hour we had a song called Yesterday. I think it's still on MySpace! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Dylan, The Essential Bob Dylan (Revised Edition) Led Zeppelin, Physical Graffiti (Remastered) Red Hot Chili Peppers, By the Way 'By The Way' by the Chilli Peppers is the closest album to my heart. 'The Essential Bob Dylan' in my opinion is the pinnacle of songwriting. 'Physical Graffiti' for me is the most powerful and beautiful rock album ever made. Tell us why you chose this song. “Light Up” “Light Up” is inspired in equal parts by my sister and our favourite movie, Don Hertzfeldt’s “It’s Such a Beautiful Day”. Both of which remind me how beautiful the world is even when it’s falling apart.
