In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad always loved Nirvana as a young adult. I believe my parents played Nirvana and Linkin Park all the time while I was in my mother's womb. I got my love for alternative music from them. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Nirvana, In Utero 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition Pierce the Veil, Collide With the Sky twenty one pilots, Twenty One Pilots My favourite song by Nirvana has to be "Rape Me". The raw emotion and irony of the song always gets me. Collide With The Sky is an album I listened to on repeat as an emo teenager. Then I graduated onto funkier sounds like Twenty One Pilots. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ghostville” I wrote that song before the lockdown, and I remember my producer mixing it on his own and sending me this like EDM version of it. God, I hated it. But it grew on me and I ended up keeping some of his changes to make this electro-alt masterpiece. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting CBC to record me playing one of my songs, LOL. They wanted to interview me about my homelessness journey and I was like "only if you mention my music". They said "you know what, we'll record you playing your music instead". Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Go on tour, get signed to a record label, get some platinums, win some Grammys. You know, the uj'.
