In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was about 7, I was obsessed with the Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour. I used to arrange pots and pans around me and pretend I was Ringo. Then I would sling my older sister's purse on and imagine I was John, rocking a Rickenbacker. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Destroyer, Poison Season Nina Simone, 'Nuff Said The Stooges, Fun House I don't think Funhouse has ever been topped for pure, primal rock and roll. It's really hard to settle on a single Nina album, but I just could not live without the song Do What You Gotta Do. Poison Season is Dan Bejar's masterpiece. Tell us why you chose this song. “About the Future” This basic elements of this song were around for nearly three years before it all came together in the wake of a personal tragedy. The final chorus especially is deeply personal and cathartic for me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Sharing a bill with the New York Dolls at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To headline the Orpheum Theater for a hometown crowd.
