Equipped with a persona that's equal parts sizzling and sweet, Bernadette Peters has maintained a long and distinguished career in music, and is arguably the most renowned female Broadway star of the late 20th/early 21st century. The singer-actress is most often associated with Steven Sondheim, having worked closely with the lyricist/composer throughout her entire career (most notably in the Tony Award winning musical INTO THE WOODS).
