Le chanteur italien de hip-hop (chanteur/parolier/et acteur) Jovanotti s'est impliqué dans la musique quand Claudio Cecchetto lui a donné l'occasion de travailler comme DJ pour une station de radio locale. Il a fait son premier enregistrement à l'âge de 19 ans, un single appelé "Gimme Five,", qui a figuré plus tard sur son premier album, Jovanotti for President. Il a ensuite été animateur à la télévision sur DJ TV et 1 2 3 Casino. Lorenzo 1992 comportait "Radio Baccano,", un titre qui a été enregistré aux côtés de l’artiste local populaire Gianna Nannini, avant une tournée avec Luca Carboni. En 2000, il est apparu à San Remo avec une chanson appelée "Cancella Il Debito." ~ Drago Bonacich
