The Rise of Datarock

Having spent several years in relative obscurity, Datarock emerged in the mid-‘00s with a fully formed sound. Fusing elements of disco with driving, post-punk basslines, angular melodies and infectious vocals, they quickly found a devoted audience. Over 15 years since forming they continue to explore sounds and push boundaries with processed guitars sweeping over a pulsing rhythm section.
