About Kate Voegele
One of singer/songwriter Kate Voegele's demos found its way into the hands of a Warner Bros. representative at a Michelle Branch concert, and soon Voegele was on the radar of major labels. She released an EP, The Other Side, in 2003, and in the spring of 2007, as a college sophomore, she issued her full-length debut, Don't Look Away. The following year she landed a role on TV's One Tree Hill -- playing a young singer/songwriter -- and enjoyed an upsurge in attention for her music; 2009's A Fine Mess hit the Billboard 200 Top Ten. After her TV role ended in 2011, Voegele relocated from L.A. to Nashville and self-released the EP Wild Card in 2014. ~ Marisa Brown & Marcy Donelson
