In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a preteen, I was moved to tears when we sang a certain hymn. This was mysterious to me at the time. Once I found a personal relationship with God through Jesus, I realized that my tears were evidence of God drawing me to Him by His great love. My heart was touched by the message and passion of these songs. They also made an indelible mark on my musical palate. Tell us why you chose this song. “Arise and Shine” In 2023, my Pastor asked me to write the theme song for an upcoming conference in Kenya.
