About Al Jacobi
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I think it's more of a feeling than a memory. I grew up in a creative household with my dad being a guitarist and my mom an actress, so I think it was just that moment of realising I could create something unique and personal to. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ab-Soul, Do What Thou Wilt Amir Obe, None of the Clocks Work Clams Casino, Instrumental Relics I could have chosen so many albums, but I chose to go with some of those less known that have shaped my sound and style. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Feel Me” It's basically a song about having your emotional breakthrough hijacked by someone else making it about them instead. Hopefully, it can make somebody feel heard or seen while also letting off some steam. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Setting up and playing 100 concerts in 100 days as an independent artist. Loved it so much that I'm doing it again! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Coming from Denmark, Roskilde Festival is obviously the big one, but other than that, I mostly look to go where others haven't. I just wanna push the boundaries of what being an artist is both artistically and entrepreneurially.
