Alain Altinoglu

With major posts in both the operatic and symphonic realms, conductor Alain Altinoglu is gaining a strong reputation among various audiences. He is the chief conductor of the La Monnaie opera house in Belgium and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra. Altinoglu has also recorded as a collaborative keyboardist, backing his wife, mezzo-soprano Nora Gubisch, on the album Folk Songs in 2014, and is an important educator. He has a substantial recording catalog that includes a 2024 performance of Florent Schmitt's mime dance La Tragédie de Salomé.
