Half of this album contains George Martin’s lush score for the animated movie, and the other half contains the title track (originally released on Revolver), as well as two Eastern-tinged George Harrison numbers (“Only a Northern Song” and “It’s All Too Much”). Lennon’s rumbling “Hey Bulldog” and the infectious “All Together Now” also add colourful touches that fit in with the animated film’s enduring legacy.
