The Deer

Texas combo the Deer write literate melodic songs that veer between sparse indie folk and sophisticated lush pop. They established their mix of spellbinding harmonies and detailed arrangements with a pair of independent releases in the mid-2010s before signing with the Keeled Scales label. Their 2019 label debut, Do No Harm, was something of a breakout for the group and they spent much of the pandemic recording two new albums, the first of which, The Beautiful Undead, was released in 2022.
