About T.M.Revolution
T.M.Revolution is the solo project of Takanori Nishikawa, a Japanese musician, producer, and singer-songwriter who formerly fronted the visual kei band Luis-Mary. ∙ His best-selling album, 1998’s triple joker, sold more than a million copies and included his first No. 1 single in Japan, “White Breath.” ∙ T.M.Revolution recorded several opening themes for the GUNDAM anime franchise, including 2002’s “Invoke” and the 2004 Japanese No. 1 single “Ignited.” ∙ In 2003, he was the first artist signed to Tofu Records, a label formed to raise the profile of Japanese musicians in North America. ∙ Nishikawa formed the rock band abingdon boys school, which provided themes for the anime series D.Gray-man, Soul Eater, and Darker Than Black. ∙ He was a Guest of Honor at the 2008 New York Comic Con, alongside sci-fi author Orson Scott Card and comic artist Grant Morrison, and made his NYC performance debut at the event.
