About Zephaniah OHora
Zephaniah OHora may be based in Brooklyn, but the music he makes with his supporting band, the 18 Wheelers, evokes California -- specifically the lean, rangy sound coming out of Bakersfield in the '60s. This sensibility was showcased on This Highway, the group's 2017 full-length debut. Prior to launching the 18 Wheelers, OHora was singer for the Honeyfingers, a band he joined in 2013. There, he began a creative collaboration with Jim Campilongo, bonding over their shared love of truck-driving country music. Originally, the 18 Wheelers were a covers band, but soon they started to work OHora's original tunes into their set list. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
