This long-running Australian band coalesced in the Sydney 'burbs in 1992, and their excitable, punked-out hooks and satirical lyrics fit in well with the early-'90s pop-punk explosion. After scoring spots on tours with bands like Bad Religion and blink-182, Frenzal Rhomb dropped their debut LP Coughing Up a Storm in '95. The band's '97 album, Meet the Family, broke the band in Australia, and '99's A Man's Not a Camel went Top 20 there. By 2003 they were touring the globe. Their fame waned but they continue to record and tour with all their power-chording wit intact.
