ECHO Essentials

Echo's crisp, upbeat tunes have found the band a huge following in Taiwan's indie rock scene. The members met at their university's music club in the late ‘90s, and bonded over their shared love of Britpop and alternative rock. Over time their sound has steadily expanded from jangly neo-psychedelic rock to incorporate genres as diverse as folk and punk, always led by singer Pochang Wu's poetic lyrics and delicate falsetto.
