Portland, Oregon's White Fang, a punk-noise quartet with a wild, thrashy sound and a prodigious D.I.Y. output, formed in 2005 while the members were still in high school. They released their debut LP, Pure Evil, in 2008 on Marriage Records. The label also released the band's next two albums, 2009's Whatever and 2011's Greatful to Shred. Several 7" and EP releases on other indies filled in the mortar between albums as the band maintained an aggressive touring schedule. From 2011 through 2015, White Fang released a new album every year, including Full Time Freaks and Chunks. Linchpins of Portland's underground scene, they have been involved in various projects including the Memories, Boom!, Feather Headdress, and the Winter Coats. ~ Timothy Monger
