About Lime

Lime were a Canadian synth pop duo formed by the production/songwriting team of Denis and Denyse LePage. A popular act in the '80s, they produced several influential singles in their genre, including the hit "Your Love" from their 1981 debut of the same name. Hitting number one on the U.S. dance chart, the song became their signature track. The pair followed it in quick succession with 1982's Lime II -- home to the Top Ten "Babe, We're Gonna Love Tonight" -- and 1983's Lime 3, which produced another hit, "Angel Eyes." Sensual Sensation, their fourth LP in as many years, landed in 1984. A greatest-hits set arrived in 1985, the same year as their fifth official full-length, Unexpected Lovers, which yielded another Top Ten dance hit. At the tail-end of the decade and into the '90s, the group continued to release albums (1988's A Brand New Day and 1991's Caroline) but would soon slow their output. A hi-NRG comeback album, Love Fury, appeared in 2002. ~ TiVo Staff
