In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I first picked up a guitar aged 7, but I only knew I wanted to make music when my mother bought a second-hand car. The previous owner had left Bon Iver's "For Emma, Forever Ago" in the CD player. I didn't know music could make you feel like that. Tell us why you chose this song. “Coup De Grâce” I wrote, recorded, and mixed my first single, Coup De Grâce, in my bedroom over the course of year. Based on a family story from the 70s, this deeply personal song explores the mindset of a man whose mother left him as a child. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I always wanted to write a song that was heavily influenced by the music of the 70s/80s that I grew up hearing. Finally seeing my single, Coup De Grâce, released in August 2024 was truly memorable.
