In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Some of our earliest musical memories are from our first fiddle lessons. Most of us started playing fiddle, viola or cello when we were 3 or 4 years old. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Casey Driessen, Eeva Talsi, Eeva Talsi & Casey Driessen The Fretless, The Fretless Väsen, Väsen Street We love folk fiddle traditions, but we especially love innovative players who bring new harmonic ideas to these traditions. We are always seeking out groovy new artists in the folk fiddle idiom. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A huge highlight of our career so far was winning Young Performers of the Year at the 2023 Canadian Folk Music Awards. It was such an honour to be nominated and a pure thrill to win!
