A fictional band partly inspired by Fleetwood Mac, Daisy Jones & the Six reflect the poppier blues-, folk-, and album rock of the 1970s. Based on a 2019 novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid, which tells the story of the ill-fated '70s group through interviews, the 2023 Amazon Studios adaptation gave voice to the music with the album Aurora. Some of its behind-the-scenes contributors included Jackson Browne, Blake Mills, and Phoebe Bridgers, while Riley Keough played the titular singer both onscreen and on vinyl.
