About Cryptopsy
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I have deep musical memories of sitting in the car with my father. He would gladly showcase heavy rock and metal as we drove around. I have fond memories of discovering Metallica, Guns & Roses as well as many other artists that way. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cattle Decapitation, The Harvest Floor Faith No More, King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime TOOL, Ænima King for a Day showcased what a human can do with their voice. Aenima is the album that showed me songs can be complex and weird while still remaining interesting. The Harvest Floor showed me that extreme vocals can indeed be varied. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Graves of the Fathers” This song is a banger to play. I love the massive groove section in the middle. It is a great live song. The crowds love it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I love performing all over the globe. I have had the chance to play in Europe, North America, Japan and even Australia. It is awesome to connect with fans from all across the world. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to play mainstage at Wacken. It is the best festival in the world and we have not had the chance to play the main stage as of yet.
