About Andrew Hyatt

Before country star Andrew Hyatt’s music career took off, he worked in his native Sudbury, Ontario, as an ironworker in a nickel mine—you don’t get much more blue-collar cred than that. But from the time his first album, Iron & Ashes, was released in 2017 and the single “On Me” became a mainstay on radio, it was clear that for all Hyatt’s hardscrabble history, he possessed a nuanced style all about storytelling and subtle shades of emotion. And when his follow-up single, “Do It With You,” became his second Top 10 Canadian country hit, folks began to get the message that the man who has hit the road with famous fellow Canucks like Jess Moskaluke and Gord Bamford was no flash in the pan. Hyatt stepped up to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger’s 604 Records for the 2018 album Cain and Abel; the 2020 EP Neverland refined and solidified his sound further while increasing his ubiquity on the airwaves.
