It’s about going on a journey together, and sharing the same path, even if you both come from different places. This song also pays tribute to my grandparents, Moses and Juliette, and traditions of the past…” What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career so far was opening for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with my band Midnight Shine. We played Ottawa Bluesfest in 2017, and were scheduled for the same night. It was exciting to play that mainstage. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are many things left on my bucket list as an artist! While my band Midnight Shine started playing together in 2011, I've only just begun releasing music and performing as a solo artist. I put out one album, and currently working on my second.
