South African rockers Prime Circle amp up their signature expansive sound on their seventh studio album, If You Don’t You Never Will. The stadium-sized choruses on "Love to Hate" dovetail with the insistent rhythms of "Innocence" and the anthemic scale of first single “The Gift", propelled by Ross Learmonth's go-for-broke baritone, Dirk Bisschoff's ringing guitar and Dale Schnettler's raw, commanding drumwork. But the multiple SAMA-winning band also finds a way to bring that intensity to their quieter moments—as in the hushed warmth of the album's closing track, "More or Less”.
