About Caylee Hammack
Singer-songwriter Caylee Hammack got her start at age 13, performing cover songs on Friday nights at a local bar in Ellaville, Georgia. ∙ To give her first single, “Family Tree,” a personal touch, she had her mother, father, sister, friends, and dog make cameo appearances in its music video. ∙ Her debut album, If It Wasn’t For You, featured appearances from country legend Reba McEntire (“Redhead”) and fellow rising artists Ashley McBryde and Tenille Townes (“Mean Something”). ∙ She cowrote “Forged In The Fire” after a devastating electrical fire destroyed her Nashville home while she was on a songwriting retreat, leaving her with only a few material possessions. ∙ In 2019, Miranda Lambert invited Hammack to sing on her cover of Elvin Bishop’s ’70s hit “Fooled Around and Fell in Love” with Maren Morris, Elle King, Ashley McBryde, and Tenille Townes. ∙ In addition to winning an ACM Award for “Fooled Around and Fell in Love,” she was also nominated in 2020 for New Female Artist of the Year.
