An experimental music OG at the age of 22, Jane Remover is not one to rest on their laurels, or to repeat the same trick twice. Since they broke through as a suburban teenager with 2021’s Teen Week, each album from the prolific musician has been a reinvention: the lo-fi digicore of 2021’s Frailty, the dreamy shoegaze of 2023’s Census Designated, the all-out sensory overload of 2025’s Revengeseekerz (not counting the side projects released under alt accounts). They follow their third full-length with a surprise EP which corrals three sublime recent loosies (“Magic I Want U”, “Flash in the Pan”, “Dream Sequence”) with three new tracks. With crush psychosis as their muse, Jane giddily blurs sludgy guitar, skittering breakbeats and frothy pop feelings, praying on “Music Baby”: “Please, God, save me—I just wanna party.”
