In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As long as I can remember I've been drawn to music with a critical eye. I recall hearing "Dirty Laundry" on the radio as a kid and being mesmerized by that funky organ and the line "people love it when you die…" What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Massive Attack, Mezzanine Radiohead, Kid A Slowdive, Pygmalion These are three of dozens of favorite all-time faves. I'm drawn to records that have an aura. They breathe an emotion. They understand that sound and texture can be as moving as melody. Tell us why you chose this song. “In This Daydream” I really love this song because of the hazy guitars but the real fun is toward the end when the drums take over and the guitars give up. Entropy wins in the end. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I played "Soft Targets" for a producer and he immediately invited me to his home in Florida to write with him. So I went, surrounded by golden records for hits for Beyonce and Usher! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to write a movie soundtrack. I've had a song used for a TV serial, but never a film. It would be amazing to collaborate with a director.
