Soda Stéreo Essentials

Influenced by post-punk and New Wave groups such as The Police and Television, Argentina's Soda Stéreo's initial few releases translated these genres for native Latin American audiences, while their sound gradually moved towards a more alternative approach. Throughout their two-decade-long career they successfully continued to evolve, dabbling in Britpop, shoegaze, progressive rock and neo-psychedelia. The group are recognised today as the first Latin rock group to have achieved success throughout Hispanic America.
