On "Mr. Pain", the mother/daughter country duo recount some of their worst break-ups over moaning steel guitar. Meanwhile, the honky-tonk boogie "Let Me Tell You About Love" sees The Judds taking the long view, narrating the history of romance all the way back to Adam and Eve.
