DeBarge were an awesomely popular ‘80s R&B group initially comprised of siblings El, Bunny, Bobby and Mark DeBarge. Signed to Motown Records, the quartet scored big with 1982's All This Love. That album, the band's second, went gold, and so did its follow-up, 1983's In a Special Way. DeBarge's fame rose even further with 1985's platinum-selling Rhythm of the Night. Despite their success, El and Bunny left the group in 1986 to pursue solo careers. Their songs remain some of the most impactful in hip-hop history, sampled by The Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac.
