The sun-kissed jangle melodies of Cloud Control have changed the atmosphere of Australia's alt airwaves. Blowing in from the Blue Mountains, the quartet's vibrant weave of indie and psychedelic threads had already made them firm festival favourites. Their debut album, Bliss Release, scooped the coveted Australian Music Prize in 2011. Globally, "Gold Canary" was voted Single of the Week on BBC6 and "Meditation Song # 2" ignited a US college radio simmer. Produced in England by Barney Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys, Spiritualized), the band's second album, Dream Cave, was a confident advance on their fast-growing reputation for layered, tuneful pop-rock.
