About Connie Fisher
Born June 17, 1983, in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, singer and actress Connie Fisher first made a national name for herself by winning a BBC television talent show. She relied on her years of experience in musical theater to create a multi-faceted career that would include not only theater, but also recorded vocal work and television drama. Her first professional stage appearance came about in 2005, performing as Princess Samina in Aladdin, followed by the role that would define her career, that of Maria von Trapp in The Sound of Music.
