

“I’m wide awake!” vocalist Marc “Zelli” Zellweger screams on “Let Me Sleep”, the face-pounding single from Paleface Swiss’ follow-up to their 2025 album CURSED. It’s the Zurich band’s second release with the “Swiss” suffix attached, which they added after learning of veteran American indie musician Paleface. The wilted sees the foursome ramping up their thudding mix of deathcore, nu-metal and beatdown hardcore with soaring clean vocals, as heard on closer “Everything Is Fine” and “Instrument of War”, a collaboration with Orange County metalcore squad Stick to Your Guns. Oh, and PS, bassist Tommy Lee? Rest assured it’s not that Tommy Lee.
