In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my first concerts ever was KC and the Sunshine Band at the Marin County Fair. I think we stumbled upon their show. I remember wondering what was going on and why people were there, but after a few seconds I got it. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Tribe Called Quest, The Low End Theory Coldplay, Parachutes M83, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming (Deluxe Edition) These albums have accompanied me to so many places. Not perfect, but true companions. Tell us why you chose this song. “Psychonavigator” This was the final song in a year-long quest to write a song each week. When I listen to it, I feel a rush of relief and accomplishment all over again. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We had some fun experiences on the Backstreet Boys tour and the Sing Off was pivotal, but my best moment came at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I paid my student loans off on stage after years of struggling to pay them. My thanks to music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've never really got to fully express what I want through a song. There is so much more I need to get out of my head and heart, and my bucket list is only that. I'll cherish the experiences in getting there.
