In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first concert was seeing the band, The Outfield, open for Starship. I remember listening to the record over & over & over again. My dad took me up front and I shook the hand of Starship's lead singer with a beautiful city backdrop. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Blue October, History for Sale Counting Crows, Recovering the Satellites Pearl Jam, Lightning Bolt These 3 albums are lyrically what I strive to be as a singer. The songs on all 3 albums connect with people's hearts. "3 chords and the truth" Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Battle Creek” This song is about my hometown of 800 people in Iowa. Getting out of Battle Creek, but holding onto the memories, is the idea behind the song. "I'm trying to be, everything you wanted for me." What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We love performing live. Opening for Black Pistol Fire, Shooter Jennings, & Colt Ford are some of our early "opening" gigs we remember. Recording our newest album in Los Angeles with producer Bob Marlette was an amazing experience. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We love performing live. We want to open shows for bands that we love. Going on tour and playing new venues, specifically Madison Square Garden!!! Playing Red Rocks would also be DOPE (no pun intended).
