I loved Aaron Copland’s El Salon Mexico, Bela Bartok’s String Quartet #6 and Turk Murphy’s Dixieland Jazz Band was a favorite too. I was too young to know how weird that was! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Dylan, Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits Duke Ellington, Never No Lament: The Blanton-Webster Band (Remastered) Various Artists, Motown Greatest Hits These are anthologies of music I know well. I still buy physical albums, especially of recent releases for careful listening, but I can count on these generous compilations (plus Frank Sinatra classics) to make any journey shorter.
